Now days everyone is health conscious and wants to join the fitness trail by either working out in gym with various machines or by taking a brisk walk for an hour. After exercises many people end up eating high calorie food items in order to curb their hunger pangs. It is important for us to know the right food to eat after workout. The primary goal of your post-workout meal is to supply your body with the right nutrients for adequate recovery and to maximize the benefits of your workout. Choosing easily digested foods will promote faster nutrient absorption. So, here are some natural food items listed to be consumed after workouts.

 For Carbs

Sweet potatoes
Chocolate milk
Fruits (pineapple, berries, banana, kiwi)
Rice cakes
Dark, leafy green vegetables

For Protein

Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese

For Fats:
